Celebrating our 75th anniversary on June 21st

Our school are delighted to be celebrating the 75thanniversary of our opening on Friday, June 21st.  We will be marking this special occasion with a number of celebrations including Mass, spoken, written and photographic  presentations.  There will be entertainment and refreshments throughout the day also.

Later that evening all parents, past pupils and/or their families are invited to a ‘Gathering’ in the Gap House.  Here you will have the opportunity to meet up with old friends and to catch up on old times.

Anyone who has old photographs or memorabilia which might be of interest can contact the school/Board of Management of Parents’ Association.

Volunteers to help out on the day would be greatly appreciated as there is a large amount of work involved  to ensure the day runs smoothly.  Please contact the school if you wish to volunteer.

So keep the date June 21st free, we look forward to joining parents, past pupils and friends for a day of music and memories to celebrate this wonderful occasion.

Who Makes a Child's World

If a child lives with criticism, he learns to condemn.
If a child lives with hostility, he learns to fight.
If a child lives with ridicule, he learns to be shy.
If a child lives with blame, he learns to feel guilty.
If a child lives with tolerance, he learns to be patient.
If a child lives with encouragement, he learns confidence.
If a child lives with praise, he learns to appreciate. If a child lives with fairness, he learns justice.
If a child lives with security, he learns to have faith.
If a child lives with approval, he learns to like himself.
If a child lives with acceptance and friendship he learns to find love in the world.
